FAQs

If your question isn't answered here, please contact us via our feedback form .

Q. Where is the best place to sit in the main auditorium?

The Main Auditorium has clear views of the stage throughout and our seating plan will give you a guide to booking. The first four rows of the stalls are flat-floored, the remaining seating in the stalls and circle is raked ensuring a good view wherever you sit. There is a wall at the front of the Circle (upstairs) for safety and, due to a slight restriction in view, we generally sell these seats at a lower rate for most performances. If you have specific seating requirements, please call the Box Office on 01543 412121.

Q. Do you have spaces for Wheelchairs in the Main Auditorium?

There are four spaces for wheelchairs in the main auditorium. Two spaces are at the rear of the Stalls and two spaces are at the rear of the Circle. See our seating plan for details. We do advise for your own convenience that you book in advance if you require a wheelchair space for a performance. Our Front of House staff will give you every assistance when you arrive at the theatre for the performance.

Wheelchairs can access the building at both entrances to the theatre, these being either the Green Room entrance on Castle Dyke, or the Box Office entrance on Wade Street. All levels including stalls and circle are accessible by lift.

Q. Do you operate a Hearing Loop?

Yes, we operate a hearing loop in the Main Auditorium. For more information please call the Box Office on 01543 412121.

Q. Do you offer reduced prices for Senior Citizens/Students?

We generally do not offer concessions, instead offering different seating prices throughout the main auditorium and depending on the show we offer between 12 and 24 seats at £10 on a first come, first served basis. Some amateur and studio shows do, on occasion, offer reduced prices for some performances and we offer discounts for group bookings and Friends Of Lichfield Garrick. Please call the Box Office on 01543 412121 for further information.

Q. What is your returns policy?

We only offer refunds in exceptional circumstances and by arrangement with the Box Office Manager. If you are unable to attend a performance that is fully booked we will offer to re-sell your ticket for a nominal fee of £2.50 per ticket.
We operate a ticket exchange service, subject to availablity, for a fee of £2.50 per ticket (excludes Friends of Lichfield Garrick).
Please speak to the Box Office Manager about any problems you may have and she will help in any way she can. To review our full terms and conditions click here .

We also accept Theatre Tokens, both in person and over the phone, for which change will be given in tokens only. Q. Why can't I choose my seats when booking online?

Due to the nature of our booking system, it is not possible to choose your seats online however we are working hard with our ticketing partners to make this a possibilty. Our online booking system will offer you the best available seats for your chosen price band. Where there are not sufficient seats left to meet your requirements you will receive an error message and should contact us by phone to check availability. Our seating plan offers you a guide to the seats you are offered and the Box Office team are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding seating. Tel: 01543 412121
