Hello, welcome to the Friends of the Garrick. I am Joanne Malin, President of the Friends. Let me tell you about the 'Friends' and what we do. We are an independent organisation run by a committee elected from Friends members. Our aim is to provide financial support and encouragement to young people, who have an interest in music, drama, and dance, to become involved and use their talents in live performance at this wonderful theatre.
A further objective of the Friends is to assist in promoting the theatre and supporting its work throughout the Lichfield District and beyond.
Membership subscription to the Friends is currently £25 per year for an individual member and £45 per year for joint members living at the same address.
Money raised by the Friends helps to finance professional coaching at the workshops and master classes that are organised at the theatre.
Friends subscriptions help to improve your theatre visits both to front of house and the whole artistic experience by contributing to displays and behind the scenes equipment.
