Lichfield Garrick's exciting new season goes is now on sale.
The new season has a variety of plays, comedy, tribute bands and dance, as well as the return of the popular Lichfield Garrick Comedy Club, featuring some of the best young talent on the circuit.
The season, which runs from July to November, is full of famous names, including Des O'Connor, Derek Acorah, Jim Davidson, Gerard Kenny, Paul Zerdin, Joe Brown and many more.
Adrian Jackson, Lichfield Garrick's Executive and Artistic Director, said: "I'm delighted to announce our exciting new season at the Lichfield Garrick. Each year we strive to provide a varied programme of entertainment to suit every taste. From drama and comedy, to live music and ballet, our new season has it all."
One of the season's highlights is the new Lichfield Food Festival taking place in and around the theatre on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September. Featuring celebrity chefs, BBC's Masterchef John Torode and Anthony Worrall-Thompson, along with a Food Studio, a Vineyard in the Sky, a Kitchen Gadget Corridor, and an ale keller, Lichfield Food Festival is set to draw in the crowds.
The season has new comedy courtesy of Jim Davidson and Bobby Davro as well as the popular Lichfield Garrick Comedy Club with new and fresh stand up comedians from the increasing comedy circuit.
There's music from The Stylistics, Shakatak, the legendary Joe Brown and The Nick Ross Orchestra bring their sounds of the Glenn Miller era.
October half term is packed full of family entertainment with Treasure Island starring Jassa Ahluwalia from Disney's Art Attack and the sensational musical Honk.
Celebrating 50 years in showbiz this year, Des O'Connor makes a welcome return for one night only.
And of course, no year is complete without a spectacular Christmas show. This year's production of Alice in Wonderland, starring Steve Huison (CBBC's 4 O'Clock Club, Coronation Street, The Full Monty) as the White Rabbit, is set to be the best yet! In a circus setting, Lewis Carroll's timeless story will be brought to life with everybody's favourite characters. Audiences will get a chance to meet the white rabbit and circus performers as they arrive at the theatre.
