Written by the creator of iconic TV series The Professionals, murder, double-bluff and subterfuge are combined in this edge-of-your- seat fast-paced thriller for a real rollercoaster ride. It's 1939 and Peter and Suzy are living simply in an idyllic, remote French cottage seemingly far from the rumblings of imminent war. Their peace is shattered, however, when police officers pay the cottage a visit and Suzy discovers the man she hopes to marry has a sinister past. Betrayed and believing he may be an escaped killer, Suzy is drawn into a terrifying web of deception but who should she ultimately believe in order to uncover the truth?
