Composer and Lyricist Jason Robert Brown, is often described as the most exciting composer since Stephen Sondheim, and one of the brightest new talents on Broadway. He has had the whole world of musical theatre talking about his blend of savvy showmanship and exciting contemporary sound for years, and this is how it all started.
In a series of songs, the audience will be transported effortlessly from "On The Deck Of A Spanish Sailing Ship, 1492" to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue; from a young American woman beginning to define the American dream in "The Flagmaker, 1775" to a young American man determined to make that dream his own in "Flying Home."
Lichfield Garrick Youth Theatre members past and present offer this very special piece of musical theatre in aid of St Giles Hospice.
