The second concert in the Carduccis’ residency features minimalist works Summa by Arvo Pärt and Philip Glass’ astonishing String Quartet no. 3 ‘Mishima’. This candlelit Cathedral event also includes featured composer Ninfea CruttwellReade’s meditative work The Opium Eaters, inspired by Thomas de Quincey and the late Beethoven quartets.
