Mother Nature

Susan Gilmour Bailey - soprano
Alexandra Gibson - mezzo-soprano
Mark Dobell - tenor
Jonathan Gunthorpe - baritone

The Agnes Collective bring us a programme inspired by Mother Nature, to include part songs by Weelkes, Morley, Elgar and Bridge, as well as a premiere by featured composer Ninfea CruttwellReade, The Gladsome Bird. The group brings together four superb voices and sees a welcome return to the Festival by tenor Mark Dobell (The Sixteen) and baritone Jonathan Gunthorpe (The Magic Flute, Così fan tutte), who are joined by soprano Susan Gilmour Bailey and mezzo Alexandra Gibson. Colleagues and friends for over 20 years, they enjoy exploring a wide repertoire, mingling well-loved music with hidden treasures.
