Erasmus Darwin Memorial Lecture 2017

‘Seeing is believing. One hundred years of visualizing molecules.’


Venki is President of the Royal Society. In 2009 he received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on ribosomal structure and was knighted in 2012. His talk will describe the development of methods for visualising molecules from x-ray crystallography of common salt to current electron microscopy of large biological structures.
