A Christmas Getaway - Cast Auditions

We’re looking for experienced local actors with a flair for comedy to be in New Old Friends’ hilarious 2023 seasonal studio show, A Christmas Getaway.

  • Auditions will take place on Tuesday 6th June between 10.30am - 4.30pm. These will be held in 15 minute timeslots.
  • Please request your timeslot by emailing us here. 
  • Please note that timeslots will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • In the email, please also include: Your contact name, agent information (if applicable), your email address, your phone number, and anything other information you feel is applicable.
  • Rehearsals start on 20th November and performances run from 8th - 31st December 2023, (with a possible extension to 7th January 2024.)
  • You’ll be meeting New Old Friends’ director, Feargus Woods Dunlop, and Lichfield Garrick Artistic Director, Daniel Buckroyd.
  • They’d like you to prepare a couple of contrasting acting pieces, with a particular focus on comedy.
  • These are paid professional roles, so we’re looking for performers with professional training or experience.
  • We’re looking to provide opportunities for local performers, so you must have a home base less than 25 miles from the theatre.
  • You must register in advance to guarantee being seen.
