Garrick20

Garrick 20 - A year of creative opportunities to celebrate 20 years of Lichfield Garrick Theatre.

As the Lichfield Garrick Theatre marks its 20th Anniversary this summer, the local arts venue is gearing up to launch its Garrick 20 initiative, which will see its team spending 12 months supporting 20 local artists or community groups to realise a creative ambition, visiting 20 local schools with creative activities, and offering training placements for 20 young people.

Placement

Work placements are designed for students, recent graduates, or any adult with an interest in developing skills in professional theatre.

Please note these are learning opportunities, not roles and are unpaid.

Work Placements are for people aged 18 and over and are offered across all departments such as Technical, Production, Marketing, Community, Education, Finance, Development, and Operations.

To apply, you will need to fill out the Garrick20 application form (linked below) and return it via email here.

We want our placements to be representative of all sections of society and welcome applications from everyone aged 18 and over.

Whether you’re teaching in primary, secondary, further education, or at SEND/SEMH schools, we’re here to help inspire creativity in your classroom with free activities for schools throughout our birthday year!
