We are currently fundraising to purchase new Caption Units so we can show captioned performances of our shows, including next year’s pantomime and Community Musical.
A donation of anything from £5 towards this project will genuinely help us to achieve our goal of making our work more accessible to D/deaf and hard of hearing audiences.
Thanks for funding from the Postcode Lottery Trust, we have just installed a new hearing loop at box office at in our Green Room café, as well as a new fire-alerter system which alerts D/deaf and hard or hearing customers to the fire alarm via a text message. There are already BSL performances of our pantomime and Community Musical, and we hope to offer more of these alongside our captioned performances.
With your help, we can make a difference to the many D/deaf or hard or hearing customers who attend Lichfield Garrick and remove barriers to help us welcome new customers. A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
Donations of £20 or more will be thanked on our website by name and in the programme for shows with a captioned performance. Donations of £50 or more will also receive two complimentary tickets to our first captioned performance.
