Young Artist Series

Songs of Love and Travel – a programme of English and German song to include works by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms, alongside Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel, accompanied by pianist Jo Ramadan.

Bass-baritone Timothy Edlin started singing as a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral. He is currently studying at the Royal College of Music International Opera School with Russell Smythe, and is fast gaining a reputation as a fine singer of opera, song and oratorio. Last summer he sang major roles with British Youth Opera; most recently, for the RCM, he sang Bottom in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
