We're seeking talented local dancers/singers to be part of the professional ensemble for our 2023 pantomime, Beauty & the Beast.

Directed by Daniel Buckroyd and written by Paul Hendy.

Date: Monday 19th June

Venue: Lichfield Garrick Theatre

Time: 10am start (arrive by 9.45am)

On the day:

  • You will be taught a dance routine by our choreographer– no need to prepare, just warm up!
  • Our ensemble understudy our principle roles within the production, so we are looking for dancers who can sing and act. You therefore may be asked to read from a script.
  • You may also be asked to sing. Please prepare a couple of contrasting songs and bring sheet music so our Musical Director can accompany you on the piano.

Prior to registering:

  • You must be available for all rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals start 6th November with performances running from the 24th November 2023 – 7th January 2024.
  • These are paid professional roles, so we are looking for performers with professional training or experience.
  • Recent graduates or early career professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • You must be aged 18+ years and outside of full-time education.
  • We’re looking to provide opportunities for local performers, so you must have a home base less than 25 miles from the theatre to attend the local open auditions.
  • You must register in advance to guarantee being seen.
