WORKSHOP: Young REP Digital

Starting this September is the Lichfield Garrick’s first ever Young REP Digital group! Running for one 12-week term, Young REP Digital will learn about the many forms of digital innovation in performance, culminating in the devising and production of a digital performance. Be it a play performed on a digital platform (think David Tennant and Michael Sheen in Staged), creating an entire choose your own adventure to be accessed through online media, or an entire story told through social media messages, imaginations the limit! Young REP Digital is designed to be able to run both physically and virtually. So if physical attendance is not possible for you right now, you’re still able to take part! Participants will be engaging with all aspects of production, be it writing, set/costume design, or even directing film.

To take part in this event, please download one of our application forms and return it to education@lichfieldgarrick.com before paying for your place.  

Sessions will be run physically where possible, however dependent upon restrictions, sessions will be moved to an online platform where needed, all relevant COVID-19 guidelines will be in place where needed.

Sessions will run for two and a half hours on Mondays from 6:30pm-9pm.

Taking Part in Young REP Digital will cost £80 for the term, however we appreciate that this is a challenging time financially, and so a number of funded places will be available, if you would like to know more about funded places, and how to access one, please get in touch with education@lichfieldgarrick.com.

Applicants must be 13+ to take part in this project.
