Designer (Set & Costumes)
JobsJob Description
Be part of our BIGGEST EVER festive season...
There's never been a more exciting time to join the Garrick. Boasting a hugely successful pantomime, a varied programme of exciting shows, and state-of-the-art facilities, the success of our modest theatre is truly snowballing as we become a staple for visitors over the festive period and beyond.
Following the astronomical success of last year's A Shoddy Christmas Carol, we're thrilled to be working with the hilariously talented Shoddy Theatre Company & The Production Garden once more to bring A Shoddy Nativity to our Studio.
Do you have an eye for design?
As we become a platform for home-grown talent, we're on the search for a Midlands-based creative and theatre designer to help bring the Shoddy Nativity world to life. A Shoddy Nativity is a three-person, multi-role, multi-locational, chaotic, and comedic retelling of the original Christmas story.
If you're able to demonstrate a body of relevant professional experience, ideally including designing for highly theatrical, multi-role shows in intimate places - this might just be the role for you! You'll be up for the challenge of conjuring up the world of A Shoddy Nativity for over 5000 visitors.
