Gemma oversees the day-to-day operations of the theatre, helping to ensure audiences, visiting companies and staff enjoy the best possible experience at the Garrick. She leads the theatre’s operational teams, including Front of House, bar, maintenance, housekeeping and technical departments, supporting the smooth delivery of performances, events and the wider running of the building.

Alongside her operational responsibilities, Gemma also programmes shows for the theatre and produces the Garrick’s in-house productions, including the annual pantomime and other shows created by the theatre.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, she plays a key role in delivering high-quality experiences both on and off stage.
