In addition to two seasons per year of professional theatre with some of the finest actors and directors from across the country, we are proud to work closely with the local community - including this year the comedy Fur Coat and No Knickers in association with the Lichfield Players. Last year our Rep Season includes Ladies' Day, a heartwarming Northern comedy, and The Entertainer , John Osborne's bittersweet drama.

The Garrick Rep School of Acting
We launched the Garrick Rep School of Acting in September 2008. The school accepts students from the age of 11 to 19 and this takes place at the Lichfield Garrick on Sundays in term time between 11am and 1pm, and culminate in an end of term performance. The classes concentrate on Acting for Stage and Acting for Camera.
The School is currently taking applicants for any available places in the January term. Please email Tom Roberts to enquire about availability.
The Young Rep Holiday Workshops
Summer holiday workshops are held each year on the main stage. Young people rehearse a show for one week and perform it to an audience on the final day. Intense but great fun and always popular! Click the link below to download an application form.
The Young Rep Choir
Under the direction of established session musician and teacher, Gladstone Wilson, the youth choir meets on Monday evenings during term time from 5pm to 7pm for young people aged between 10 and 18. A varied repertoire includes musical theatre, pop, jazz, gospel and soul. There is an annual concert in the main auditorium, in addition to local festivals and events. No experience is necessary and you don't have to be a great singer. You just need lots of enthusiasm and a love of singing!
