I am proud to be a trustee of the Lichfield Garrick; having a vibrant local theatre is a huge amenity for the district and its many communities. Providing live theatre is important and plays a key role in the continuing development of the performing arts and all those involved.

I run a market research and consultation company focussed on the business sector and undertaking evaluations and reviews of public sector and government initiatives developed my knowledge and skills in many directions, project management, analysis and lateral thinking included. Being involved in the local business community, heading district-wide business and community partnerships, and latterly working with LDC, brought new personal skills, including being a “critical friend” and acting as the link between LDC and the Garrick before finally becoming a trustee 6 years ago.

I’m delighted the Garrick has in its 20th year grown as a popular, sustainable and much-loved venue delivering an extensive programme to a variety of audiences.
