FAQs
Your VisitFrequently Asked Questions
Where is the best place to sit in the main auditorium?
The Main Auditorium has clear views of the stage throughout and our seating plan will give you a guide to booking. The first four rows of the stalls are flat-floored, the remaining seats in the Stalls and Circle are raked to ensure a good view wherever you sit. There is a wall at the front of the Circle (upstairs) for safety.
Please be aware the front row of the Circle and Boxes 1 and 4 may have slightly restricted views.
If you have specific seating requirements, please contact the Box Office on 01543 412121.
Why can I not book tickets in the Circle?
Depending on the show, we may choose to open the Circle at a later date. Please call our Box Office on 01543 412121 and we can add you to the show’s waiting list, then we will be in touch with you if and when the Circle does open.
Is there a charge for physical tickets?
We will send your tickets to your email address free of charge if you select e-tickets when making your purchase. You also have the option to have your tickets posted out to you for a £2.50 postage fee (per order), or you may collect them from the Box Office for £1 anytime leading up to the performance, including when you arrive at the theatre for the show. This small charge was added recently as an encouragement for our patrons to choose the more sustainable option and to reduce paper waste.
Is there a charge for making a booking?
We charge a £3 booking fee for using our website; this fee remains the same whether you are booking one ticket or ten and does not increase if you are booking multiple shows in one order. There is no extra charge for booking over the phone or via the Box Office, and ticket prices remain the same regardless of your method of booking.
Do you offer reduced prices for Senior Citizens/Students?
We generally do not offer concessions, instead offering different seating prices throughout the Main Auditorium. Some amateur and Studio shows do, on occasions, offer reduced prices for some performances and we offer discounts for group bookings and for Lichfield Garrick Members. Please contact the Box Office on 01543 412121 for further information.
What is your returns policy?
All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. If you are unable to attend a performance that is fully booked, we will offer to re-sell your ticket for a nominal fee of £2 per ticket. Tickets can be exchanged to another performance of the same show subject to availability, for a fee of £2 per ticket.
All original tickets held by the customer need to be returned to box office, in person or by post, before we can process any exchanges or resales. This includes print at home tickets.
Exchange and Resale fees do not apply to Garrick Members.

Content Warnings
We want you to thoroughly enjoy your experience at the Lichfield Garrick, and we endeavour to give you the most complete information about the shows we are staging. These are not spoilers; we want to support our audiences who would benefit from additional information about the show and may be in need of content/trigger warnings.
We are primarily a receiving venue, meaning many of the performances that come to us are part of tours. We also produce our own work in-house.
Our webpages for shows will be updated as early as possible with potential triggers, hidden in a click-down window so people who wish to see them can find them easily, and they can be avoided by those who don’t wish to see them.
If you have any concerns about any shows listed, please contact the Box Office by emailing garrick@lichfieldgarrick.com
